I gotta tell y'all about the shrimp pasta I made last night! It was so bomb, I had to lick my plate clean. I found this recipe on the interwebs, but I put my own spin on it. First things first, I gathered all my ingredients: linguine pasta, large shrimp, garlic cloves, lemon juice, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, olive oil, salt and pepper. I always season my shrimp with some cajun seasoning for an extra kick. Then I threw the linguine in a pot of boiling, salted water and cooked it until it was al dente. In another pan, I heated up some olive oil and cooked the shrimp until they were nice and pink. I removed the shrimp from the pan and added some garlic and red pepper flakes to my oil. Once the garlic was fragrant, I poured in some chicken broth and lemon juice and let it simmer for a bit. Then I added the cooked linguine to the pan and tossed it around so it could soak up all of the delicious sauce. I added the shrimp back in and topped it all off with some Parmesan cheese. Let me tell you, the flavors in this dish were on point. The tanginess from the lemon and the heat from the red pepper flakes really made my taste buds dance.
